Minor updates

The time horizon I had in mind in my previous update seems to have been a bit optimistic. I have just this week managed to connect mjanes.com and wire in some social network links. Next on the list of technical improvements will be having Cori Johnson help with the design and layout, but that is contingent on me actually getting back to the non-technical aspect of this blog, namely writing content.
